Does anyone remember Playland? I don’t know if any of you are familiar with that amusement park. It was in Justice. Playland has been gone a long time and now it’s Sterling Estates mobile park.
He said they would all jump in his Grandpa`s Dodge Dart and head out for a fun day. The Scrambler, the tilt a whirl, the pony rides, the Fun house and the roller coaster the kids went on every ride until they were exhausted. On the way home Grandpa Steve would stop at Kentucky Fried Chicken and buy all the children chicken dinners. My husband says this is one of his best childhood memories.
