Up until 1970 Burbank was South Stickney and Mr.Fitzgerald and Louie Viverito and the towns people voted in to have its own town name. However years back Burbank/South Stickney was a great place to grow up, we had the star lite drive-in, we had the toboggan slides by the bridge on Cicero, we had Topps department store on 79th st.and Cicero that had carnivals every summer as well as Saint Albert`s The Great church carnivals and Father Rodgers, then of course the Sheridan drive-in, we paid to get in and sometimes we got in by way of trunks of cars and boy was it hot in there.  Topps department store and Corvettes department store was where a lot of our parents went shopping at. Another hang out in the late 70`s was taco bell at 79 th and central where the parking lot of Cole Taylor bank is. Boy the fun!

There`s a few other things that were cool in Burbank! There were the bike trails behind Rice park that lead almost to Harlem and if you had a motor cycle or a cool bike you could hit some serious trails. And at 79 th and central behind Kramer’s foods and Bedford electric there was a coffee shop were the beatnik’s hung out. Burbank IL air conditioning repair has been around the town.

Over all living in Burbank was OK.  There`s a lot to say about Burbank of old, The new Burbank you could not pay me to live there.  How ever you can pay me to tune up your a/c system,repair it or install it. Air conditioner tune up.
